This scheme sought to extend and partly rearrange an existing distribution warehouse in an industrial park in Basildon. The building was brought forward towards the access road, providing more storage space and processing areas at ground level.

Whilst the original vehicle bay was retained, a new first floor was added overhead, creating a covered loading area outside and new office and social spaces above. This new accommodation formed a mezzanine floor, with windows overlooking the main warehouse below. Externally, the cladding and vehicle roller doors were specified to match those of the existing, to ensure a cohesive appearance.
