Crown Mews

This compact mews development is situated in the heart of Ingatestone, behind the Grade II Listed former public house, The Crown Inn. The scheme consists of 10 two- to four-bedroom dwellings, arranged to form a continuous private street frontage.

Since the mews is located within the Ingatestone Conservation Area, it was important for the design to reflect the traditional style of the High Street using vernacular details and sympathetic materials. The dwellings rise to a maximum of two-and-a-half storeys to remain in keeping with the surrounding residential buildings.
