The brief from the client was to design a replacement hall to cater for a wider range of clubs and activities, to be linked to the church via a new entrance. A secondary aim for the project was to visually open up the church and make it more welcoming to the surrounding community.

The proposed design intends to act as a smaller sister building with a large, glazed gable end façade and new, low profile entrance to complement and blend the new with the existing.
