About Us

John Finch Partnership was established in Chelmsford by John Finch in 1959, very close to our current premises.

We provide a comprehensive range of architectural services for a variety of clients, including national and regional housebuilders, local authorities, and private individuals. Our experience covers projects across Essex and East Anglia, in residential, commercial and education sectors, amongst others.

As a practice, we are able to give sound advice on matters relating to planning and development. We can advise on the feasibility of proposals in planning terms, carry out site appraisals, and work directly with local planning authorities.

Over many years, we have developed wide-ranging experience in the conservation and listed building sectors, and are well-versed in surveying, designing for and working with historic buildings. Our work has been recognised by various conservation awards for schemes in Braintree, Maldon and Ipswich.
